vindel motel is an adorable mid-century modern gem. it has nice amenities while keeping the charm of the original design. it’s a short walk to downtown, yet quiet and safe. the owner is very friendly and takes care of cleaning herself!

This adorable mid-century modern motel offers a peaceful retreat within walking distance of downtown. The exceptionally clean queen room was a delight, featuring a microwave and refrigerator. The charming, cabin-like decor made the stay feel cozy and welcoming. A lovely swimming pool is available, though I didn't get the chance to use it. Homemade pies and jams added a touch of warmth to the experience.

I loved the vintage feel of the rooms, and they were exceptionally clean. The location was super convenient, and having a microwave and fridge was a nice touch.

The pool looked great if you want to relax, and I loved hanging out in the gardens since they were well-maintained. Just a heads up, make sure to check the coffee supplies as mine had one spoiled creamer, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

I enjoyed my three-night solo stay! The location was perfect for bike rides to the Shepler ferry. The room had a comfortable vibe, with a microwave and fridge. Don't forget to take your pet! I loved seeing other Chihuahuas around. A great spot for exploring the area!
